    Just so everyone can know and stop being confused...
    The Tatsumaki-Senpu kyaku (Tornado Whirlwind Kick) is the spinning kick Ken and Ryu do, although I'm not sure if that's what josh intended in that panel since he already did his street fighter reference with Ha-Moo-Cow. We can just read into it and think of other things it could be.

    @LockeZ I'm pretty sure she's putting the lid back on the bubble fluid in the last panel, not opening the soda can. The two are shaped differently. [Reply]

    Re: panels 4 and 5. I feel certain that Collette's continuing the Street Fighter II reference started in panel 2, with Ken and Ryu's spinning helicopter attack and Blanka's rolling attack, particularly since all three (along with Bison and Honda) appear in panel 2.

    I think the baseball bat is a nod to, um, baseball video games. The idea of swinging your weapon in a circle to deflect an energy ball back at the enemy who cast it is also pretty iconic of the Zelda series, but that's kind of a stretch. [Reply]
