    He probably will end Girly. I mean come on, there's 600 pages so far. That's the longest a webcomic has ever come next to that furry comic with the rabbit dude and the wolf chick.     I still agree with the whole "shapeshifter" idea. Or a possession type deal makes sense too. I just can't actually believe that the Queen is the real Otra. Mostly cuz of how Cat and the army of puppies reacted to her back in #69-sumthin. I mean, Cat always loved Otra. Always trust the fluffy fat kitty cat.... It knows ALL. [Reply]

    I can't help but notice the change in tone in the comments from these last two comics. We went from "OMG Otra is Sir Greyscale" to "OMG Evil Queen-Otra is hot!" I just thought I ought to point that out. ;)

    Okay, I'm gonna come out with my theory.

    That isn't a possessed!Otra, but rather, a shape-shifting Queen. Otra is elsewhere. This might be a red herring, but when "Otra" "turned" (she only does the FaceHeelTurn after she appears from being offscreen, another support), that one is holding the sword in the wrong hand. [Reply]

    I think that's Otra alright, in body and at least partially in mind: In spite of her blunt-and-to-the-point nature she still won't finish Winter off, not by her own hand anyway. Methinks there's some internal conflict going on...

    Whatever's making Happy-Co's sidekicks turn rogue (the thing from #626 ?) seems to have gotten to her (jumped from Nurse Yumi?). Being the first (and currently hottest) sidekick produced by Happy-Co, the rest of them appoint her Queen.

    Aaaand sooo... I'm reckoning everything Business Sidekick said a couple of chapters ago is true, but the two of them can work through that once we've had our Hot-Blooded, Girl-on-Girl "I Know You're In There Somewhere" Fight and the spell's been broken. Remember, it's not where you came from that matters; it's what you've experienced.

    Unfortunately it is Otra. The police chief sidekick even tries to say something about it in #672 which is way before Otra's encounter with the Queen and Nurse Yumi. Possessed? I don't think so, reprogrammed? Probably. [Reply]

    I believe that what the business sidekick said is true and Otra really is what she is except shes being controlled like a puppet by a larger and more ominous force

    And that winter will lead her army of cutetownians... yea to cutetownU and end up fighting an epic battle that can only be decided by a fight between Winter and Otra.

    (breath) in which Winter will be defeated and Otra will have to meke the ultimate choice between the awesome power of ruling the sidekicks and all of cutetown or fighting that which is controling her (with a little help from cute wendy and friend).

    (breath) All of this leading up to the final battle against the queen where the daring duo will hopefully be reunited (with a little frienldy assitance from the people of cutetown.) and vanquish the evil and happyco.

    Thus the end of Girly...

    @Kit-kun I was thinking the same thing. After reading all the comments I'll also say that I think that it is Otra not some "shape-shifter" hence the scene with Winter and Otra in their original clothing as stated.

    If you guys are referring to this Tweet:

    Josh may have simply meant this current chapter or part, not the comic as a whole. "Series" is ambiguous enough to mean anything in this context.

    Having said that, I began to think that Josh was wrapping up the comic some time ago, because of the tone and feel of this chapter. As great as Girly is, he may want to concentrate on Slipshine, which probably brings in more money. [Reply]

    Okay, speculation is fun and all, but really, we don't have enough information to say one way or the other what's going on and what will happen. It's like arguing over what form the Christian End Times will take. It all hinges on who's lying, what certain panels mean, who certain mysterious characters really are, various hidden agendas (including Josh's), and the reason for retconning certain past comics.

    Ultimately, we're all just going to have to wait and see how things develop. [Reply]

    @Noman True that we will have to wait and see what will happen, but though many comments such as "otra's hot" are pointless but people should still post because it does two things, first it shows josh that at least 71 people are following the comic pretty closely considering they posted on the same day (I posted 3 time now) and second to the people who read the posts they pick on things they might have missed, someone mentioned Otra had a "forgive me winter" look on her face in the last panel people look back and think realize theyre right and think diffrently about the situation or they look at it in another light.     @TheLonging Lucy's nose, face, and body are shaped differently. Lucy also often has her eyes half-closed (to show off her dark eye shadow) and has a beauty mark on one cheek. They look nothing alike. See #706. [Reply]
